  • About

I completed my undergraduate degree in law in 2016. In 2019, I completed my master’s degree in international law at Tarbiat Modares University in Iran. My master’s thesis was about the role of international criminal tribunals in protecting the fundamental rights of the child, and, in particular, to the International Criminal Court. my first-hand experiences of Iranian politics propelled me towards studying political science at ISU.

My research interests include comparative politics, international relations, human rights, authoritarian regimes, repression, Middle East, and Iran. In addition to my academic studies, I have worked with several major NGOs and institutes that are active in the field of international human rights and international humanitarian law including the Association for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, the Iranian Association for the Study of the United Nations, and the National Committee for Humanitarian Rights.
