Biography

Joyce R. Walker is an Associate professor at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. She is the director of the Illinois State University Writing Program (www.isuwriting.com) and teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in Rhetoric & Writing Studies. Her research interests include the study of knowledge transfer and uptake in various settings, from First-year composition courses to music communities in Michigan.
