Biography
Dr. Braun has been an instructional assistant professor and clinical educator in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders since 2019. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, is board certified in audiology and pediatric audiology, and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Earlier in her career, Dr. Braun worked at a private otolaryngology practice and a regional medical center, where she helped establish an inter-professional cochlear implant program. Dr. Braun’s clinical interests include early assessment and treatment of pediatric patients, adult hearing evaluations with hearing aid and cochlear implant treatment, as well as vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation. Throughout her career, she has supervised audiology graduate students as well as being shadowed by undergraduate students and resident physicians.
