The Barbara Lee Aubertine Scholarship was established by Matt Aubertine, a graduate of U-High in 1976, and ISU in 1987. He was moved to establish this scholarship to honor his mother, who was originally from California. Barbara, a UC Berkeley graduate, was a literature major. Matt's appreciation for the value of good writing was shaped by his mother.
