My research interests are focused on several related and sometimes overlapping areas: Individual Differences: how and why individual differences impact attitudes and behaviors in employment and academic contexts Job Performance/Personnel Selection: testing/test validation, rater motivation, cognitive and non-cognitive predictors, OCB, CWB. Career and Employment Issues (especially in relation to voluntary turnover): overqualification – underemployment, idiosyncratic deals, employability, mentoring. Understanding and Improving Survey Research: identified employee surveys, study design features that reduce common method variance, reducing social desirability biases in employee surveys.
