Crawford Book Scholarship

The Crawford Book Scholarship was established by James and Mary Crawford to assist incoming freshman with expenses incurred in the purchase of textbooks. Three awards of $500 will be made.

Applicants for this scholarship must be incoming freshmen and:

  • Have declared a major in the College of Arts and Sciences (Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Communication, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Economics, English, Geography-Geology, History, Languages/Literatures/Cultures, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Politics and Government, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology and Anthropology)
  • Letters of application and a personal statement are due in the College Office (Stevenson 141) by 4:00 p.m. on July 25, 2013. Letters of recommendation are accepted but not required
