Forecast: A Little Bit of Everything

For those of you who enjoy all types of weather, this is the week for you.

This afternoon will bring light snow showers that will taper off around midnight tonight. Later in the week the temperatures will be on the rise. Wednesday and Thursday we could see some rain, but the weekend looks to be good in the Central Illinois area.

Weather Outlook for Week of March 28-April 1

Last week the Bloomington-Normal area experienced a roller coaster of temperatures with high near 70 earlier in the week and lows dropping to the 30′s toward the end of the week. WZND spoke with the Lincoln National Weather Service for insight on these strange weather patterns and it’s normality for this time of year.

Weather abnormality for the Spring

The Weather Service Center also reported that temperatures this week will be similar to last weeks cool down, with highs dwindling between 30 and 40 degrees.

Weather Outlook For Week Of February 14th

Record-breaking snowstorms and below freezing temperatures have constituted the climate in 2011, and many residents of the Bloomington-Normal area have been anticipating the first glimpse of promiseing warm temperatures. WZND spoke with the Lincoln, Il National Weather Service office about the upcoming temperatures this week. With only a slight chance of precipitation, this week’s forecast will hopefully denote a new trend for the rest of winter.
