Summer Session 2014

Stay on track for graduation and take a class or two over the summer at ISU! The Summer Session 2014 schedule is now available! Students are able to view the offered courses, type of course, start dates and course duration on the Summer Session website. Financial information and housing options are also available to students through the website.

Why take summer courses?

Get ahead: Summer courses allow students to work ahead in their plan of study. Students can work toward graduating early, or lessen their workload during the fall/spring semesters by taking summer courses.

Stay on track for graduation: Summer courses can help students stay on track to meet their expected graduation date. Courses are offered in select majors and minors, and to meet the University Wide and General Education requirements.

Focus on classes: Students are able to take one course at a time over the summer. This allows students to concentrate on one class without having a full-time class schedule with other assignments.

Convenience: ISU offers a variety of online courses over the summer, which allows students to complete coursework off campus at their convenience. ISU offers courses that are 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 weeks long depending on the course. Financial aid and on- and off-campus housing options are also available to students taking ISU courses over the summer.
