Maegan O’Brien and Nicole Stuckmann, two Illinois State University students majoring in English publishing studies, are completing an internship in the College of Arts and Sciences office. Working under the direction of Assistant Dean Deborah Fox, this semester they were responsible for writing, editing, and publishing CASNews each Monday. “Maegan and Nicole worked very hard this semester,” said Fox. “Together, they’ve produced fifteen issues of CASNews, and they’ve been very serious about wanting to share the wide range of excellent work being done across the College.”
The students completed the internship as part of the course requirement for English 39800Professional Practice: Internship in English, taught by Dr. James Kalmbach. Both O’Brien and Stuckmann will graduate from Illinois State in May.
This is the last issue of CASNews for the semester. It will resume weekly publication with the start of the Spring 2014 semester on January 13.
