Psychology Colloquium to Feature Michael Spivey

Michael Spivey

The Institute for Prospective Cognition (IPC) will host a colloquium on Friday, October 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. in room 206 in DeGarmo Hall. Dr. Michael Spivey, University of California, Merced, will be the featured speaker. His talk, “Synchrony and Coordination in Human Interaction,” is one in the institute’s Virtually Human: Science, Art, and the 21st Century Self speaker series. The talk is free and open to the public, and students, especially, are encouraged to attend. Spivey, who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester, is the author of The Continuity of Mind (2007, Oxford University Press).

The talk is sponsored by The Fell Trust Foundation, the College of Arts and Sciences, Psi-Chi/SPA, and the Department of Psychology.
