Dr. Alyssa Seeman

Biography

I am an audiology clinical educator. I have been at ISU since 2012 and worked as a clinical audiologist for nine years before coming to ISU. I specialize in tinnitus and hyperacusis evaluation and treatment as well as adult diagnostics and amplification. I often guest lecture and contribute to classroom education on various topics including tinnitus and hyperacusis, cerumen management, and infection control. I also provide educational lectures in the community on tinnitus as well as supervise adult and preschool hearing screenings. I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Bowling Green State University, my Master of Arts in Audiology from Kent State University, and my Doctor of Audiology from Salus University. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and am a member of the American Tinnitus Association.
