February 17 - Nominations for Academic Senate, URC, and FRC are due to the College

February 24 - Applications for CAS Excellence Awards for Outstanding Scholarly Achievement and Outstanding Teaching are due to the College from DFSC/SFSC

February 24 - Nominations for CAS Excellence Awards for Civil Service and Administrative/Professional Staff Award are due to the College

February 27 - University Teaching Committee calls for nominations for Outstanding Teacher Awards and the Outstanding Service Awards

February 27, 28, & 29 - Election of College Academic Senators, FRC, and URC members. Senators seated at May Senate meeting.

During February - Senate sends notice to Depts/Schools asking for nominees for Academic Freedom Ethics and Grievance Committee and Panel of Ten

March 1 - Chair/Director evaluations (Chair/Director makes portfolios available to Dept/School)

March 10-18 - Spring Break

March 29 - Arts and Sciences Distinguished Lecturer, C. Andrew Weeks, 7:30 pm, Old Main room, BSC

March 30 - Sabbatical leave reports for those on leave the previous semester due to Dean and Chair/Director

March 31 - Portfolios and evaluations of Chairs/Directors due to the College

During March - College calls for nominations for CFSC and College Council members

April 4 - Dean's Spring Address & CAS Awards Ceremony, Old Main, BSC, 3:30 pm

April 15 - Deadline for election of CFSC, URC, FRC

April 29 - Deadline for electing DFSC/SFSCs

During April - Nominations for faculty/student members of College Curriculum Committee, College Teaching Award Committee, and the College Service Award Committee

During April - Nominations for Research Proposal Review Committee

During April - Election for CFSC and College Council members

May 1 - Deadline for awarding Tuition Waivers for spring semester

May 5 - Last day of spring semester classes

May 7 - University Outstanding Teaching Award nominee names due to CTLT from Depts/Schools

May 11 - Commencement, Redbird Arena, 7:00 pm

May 14 - May/Summer Interim Session begins

May 15 - Grades submitted into the system by noon

May 21 - Summer session begins

May 28 - Memorial Day - University offices closed

June 1 - Preview begins

July 4 - Independence Day holiday - University offices closed

July 31 - Deadline for awarding Tuition Waivers for FY2012
